The Triodos Bank purchased the Reehorst estate next to Driebergen-Zeist station for creating the new, highly sustainable office and for revitalising and developing the landscape of the estate, whereby translating the corporate identity into a spatial experience is extremely important.
The existing features of the Reehorst from the point of departure, while a new layer is being added allowing you to experience with all the senses what the Triodos Bank's core values are: sustainability, transparency, excellence and entrepreneurship. Existing and new qualities jointly create a special environment, for working or otherwise, where everyone is welcome. Earth, water and air are clean and culture, nature and economy in balance. The building and landscape architecture follows function, nature and culture, and furthermore puts people first. The plan for the outside space also explicitly provides a proper connection with the environment, with for instance considerable attention given to the relationship with the renovated station square and the ecological anchoring.
