Dinteloord - Agro-industrial cooperation Royal Cosun is creating a new innovation centre, the Cosun Food Technology Centre (CFTC). This new construction is soon providing an optimal contribution to developing new products and applications based on plant-based raw materials and optimising production processes.
The CFTC is becoming an inspirational location with chemistry, biology and physics laboratories, kitchen and bakeries, a major business park, but also with a restaurant and activity-related office spaces.
ARCADIS Landscape Architecture has collaborated with Ector Hoogstad Architecten, Hurks and Imtech on the design for this new innovation centre. The innovation centre is to be the place where employees cooperate in a perfect working environment on developing new products and processes. At the same time the building and the environment constitute the cooperation's calling card, toward both visitors and the outside world. The building and its environment thus demonstrate what Royal Consun stands for: connecting nature, technology and science, as expressed in the experimental gardens and water features.
