Kristina Knauf is a Senior Consultant with 18 years of experience in urbanism and spatial transformation, specializing in evidence-based design, resilience and future-ready urban development. She works on integrated strategies for climate adaptation, livable public space and healthy cities, using methods such as the Healthy City Index, GIS, back- and forecasting, and inclusive co-design. In projects such as the MKBA/GSI study for Capelle aan den IJssel, the station area in Zaandam and Sea2City Vancouver, she connects spatial quality with safety, livability and measurable sustainability impact. Kristina is driven by creating high-quality, safe and robust spaces and by strengthening integration in design and decision-making processes.
