Wouter Veugelers works at the intersection of green design and engineering, with a strong focus on green roofs, heat stress and the design of cities and landscapes. With a background in both civil engineering and landscape architecture, he connects design and delivery in a wide range of projects where digitalisation, BIM and 3D play an important role. Through his graduation research on heat stress, he introduced the heat stress Hierarchy and new methods for calculating heat stress within Arcadis. Wouter thrives in complex, integrated project environments, bringing together designers, engineers, clients and delivery partners to create thoughtful solutions with broad support.
